Default Ek H22 hatches- Guys, question on axle bindage

hey guys, I have a slight issue with my h22 hatch now that i've lowered it..
I have a set of Neuspeed Sport springs and KYB AGX shocks, and since I've lowered it if I hit a large bump, or go around a sweeping left hand turn with any speed, my axle (s) binds pretty bad. I'm using the HCP mount kit with front cross mount, and a '90 Accord intermediate Shaft, '89 teg passenger axle and 90 teg driver side axle. I changed the passenger side axle from 90-89 because it was really binding when I first did the swap. Maybe the driver side one needs to be replaced now for the shorter 89? Are there any other options besides those $300 wonders from Driveshaftshop.com?

Mine is dropped quite a bit in the front, and I had to use 86-88 teg. axles, but it seems that they still pop some in the morning.....Ususally its just as I roll off from sitting somewhere. After I get rolling it doesnt do it anymore.

Mark, you used 86-88 Teg axles? I thought the spline shaft count was different? Obviously not.. haha anyways, thanks for the advice. How much shorter are they anyway?
Jason:
I just don't have the $300 bux it's gonna be to get new ones, that's all. We could start an EK22TIM hatch get well fund??

Damn are you really that far away?!? And we are meeting in Jerzy I figure that is would be a little closer to you.. And yeah I am glad my car is running too, however just the other day as usual my f22 or Accord ECU finally took a dump on me so now I have nothing to do but wait for this chipped p28 to come in if I am going to make it. Hopefully it will be here before this weekend so I can at least be at the meet I am trying to organize.. hehe

May the force be with you and not own joo!!

I think the 86-88 are about 1" shorter (just right for my car). The thing is that when I did the axles I have in there now I put the prelude inner joint on the pass. side, and I think I didnt get enough grease in there.....thats my theory on why it pops. The driver side is also the 86-88 teg. but my bro was using it on his 89 civic with ls/vtec & lsd tranny, and I think he messed up the outer bearings cuz his lsd made the axles pop really bad around corners....

Ok, so you had to change the joints? I just was hoping for a plug n play swap.

You really might want to bear down and spend the money on DSS axles. My car is lowered about 1.5in give or take a little. No matter what kind of pot hole or hard corners I have had no binding at all. I would say it would be money well spent.

No, sorry nothing yet. I can't seem to find a time to work on my car when auto Zone is open to exchange the axle.
