what do you guys think I will run?
going to the track, I have a bling bling eg si hatch (I know... kinda heavy). I have back seats, jack and spair removed.
93 jdm h22a w/ lsd
mods = cai/h/e, vafc, clutch, and flywheel.
I will be running on my all seasons/ steelies.
what would you think I should run? I will post times wed. night.

well... I haven't run at the track yet with my civic, but I did a pull with another civic that traps at 101, and we went from 40 to 110, and I didn't pull on him and he didn't pull on me... not even an inch... so I am assuming that is what I would trap at.

ok, so I ran last night... I only ran 2 times, because there is no point on beating on my car when I dont have any traction. Well... here it goes.
spinning through 1st (launched at 2500), 2nd and part of 3rd I got these times on my 14" steelies w/ random named all seasons @ 32psi. Car is 2260lbs w/o me in the car and 1/2 tank of gas These runs were done at 90% throttle. For some reason I can not get it higher than 90%
edit: conditions: elevation is like 900ft above sea lev, it was about 75 degrees out and 95% humidity
First run (motor still hot):
R/T: .501
60': 2.259
330: 6.108
1/8: 9.259
MPH: 78.6
1000: 11.962
1/4: 14.239
MPH: 99.38
OWNED: modded Audi TT quatro
Run 2 (engine cooler)
R/T: .609
60': 2.288
330: 6.131
1/8: 9.251
MPH: 79.46
1000: 11.924
1/4: 14.178
MPH: 100.51
OWNED: a neon... I think I made the turn to come back before he finished

damn, not too bad and very good 60' considering you're rolling on the EX/Si steelies, weather and such.
I have traction issues up the *** with skinny tires like that
Now get some slicks and break some mid 13's!

Hmmn I think that the main key here is traction and LSD. If you get bigger wheels maybe 15's with some radials and LSD then you times would improve drastically..

I already have a quaife all seasons with the humidity killed it. I just need some lighter rims and good tires. Normally I chirp 3rd on the street, but at the track, I was spinning them.

Okay then its definately your all seasons. I dont have much traction issues as all, but then again my wheel base is wider in the front due to the extended studs of the axles with a spacer...
