Just got back from Dyno...
Special thanks to Shawn Church, from Church Automotive in Torrance.
THis guy knows his ****!
Anyways, before tuning, the car laid a baseline run of 259.3whp & 182.6ft/lb,
after about 1 hour of tuning, he managed to squeeze out 280.7whp & 190.0 ft/lb @ 9psi of boost. Biggest torque gain was found at 5000RPM's, Before = 158, After = 175...car feels so much smoother now.
98 GSR
Stock Block, Stock head
MSD 6A, Blaster SS, Cap, Rotor, NGK BKR7E @ .036", NGK wires
Drag 3 Turbo kit, 2.5" SS all the way back, no CAT
Hondata 3b, p28, w/ 550 RC's
I will get pics tommorow for everyone to see.
Needless to say, I am a happy man now!

different motors make different numbers. maybe his compression is a little higher than your gsr motor. Exhuast setup can play a role in it too.

Perhaps it has to do with the fact he used hondata not the hacks Hack

could it also be the fact that im using a t04b and not an E? i dont thihnk it would make a 40whp difference or maybe. i have a greddy evo exhuast system with no cat, im not sure on the diameter. 2.25 maybe?

It could be the 2.25 pipe that you have or you could need a new clutch to transfer more power.

Pics of the dyno sheets, sorry I dont have a scanner.
Torque and A/F ratio

Torque and WHP

Boostgraph

and here is a pic of the Sr20DET powered Datsun 510 from accross the way.
This thing put down almost 400hp, 50 of which came from cam tuning alone.
We had more pics of engine bay, and video of it roasting the tires, BUT UNFORTUNATLY, someone who remains unnamed, deleted the pics.

Damn it was a sexy motor bay too.
I "THINK" this car is being built for a Ultimate SCC contest.
