3psi??? mad exhaust leak???
ok, i got the new tranny on, & im driving around & only hittin 3 psi of boost.
i've got a pretty loud exhaust leak, so i think thats the culprit, but when i disconnect the vac line to the wg, i boost as high as i want (i let off at 6 psi)
I dont understand why the wastegate is opening at 3 psi when the vac line is hooked up, if theres a 6.5 psi spring in it.

Hey Titus, I'm not 100% sure what your problem is but I'm having an exhaust leak party at my house tonight, you should come over. I'm swapping out all my shitty bolts to studs from the manifold to turbo and for the downpipe as well.
FWIW, keep in mind the wastegates like to come loos and leak pretty often, check that and make sure the Downpipe is nice and tight.

thanks mark. did you get that hondata installed?
what i dont understand is why i could hit full boost with the wastegate not hooked up to a vac line, but only 3 psi when it is hooked up.

Try a different vacuum source for the wastegate. Where is the WG vacuum now? If you have an exhaust leak between the turbo/mani or WG/mani, fix that first. If you want maybe we can swap wastegates and take a drive, see what happens.
