i was just wondering if anyone could please explain the whole check valve thing to me. i'm going to be installing my turbo kit and wanted to know what it is exactly and how i go about doing it.

all check valves do is not let the map/ecu read boost since it was not designed to read boost from the factory. Its installed between the map sensor and the throttle body.

I would suggest a missing link instead of a set of check valves. Transition from vacume to boost is much smoother, the missing link is a lot cleaner looking and installs a lot easier.
