Default check engine probs when boosting

on a 91 crx with b16 swap when boost hits 5psi the check engine lights comes on and reads map sensor, im running a jg edelbrock intake manifold with 99si throttle body and 99 si map, with missing link check valve then i switched to stock crx map via vacum of manifold with in line petra check valves (pet shop special)five of them in line... dont know what else to do any ideas?

maybe the missing link was dirty or defective.. are you sure you installed the pet shop check valves right.. the valves should let the air out of the hose. could it be you need more check valves? i never went that way so im not sure how many you need to make it work.. you could try to call the place you got the missing link from. they might know whats wrong with it..

yea i tryed all that i blew through the check valve and it worked as it was spossed to onlt blows though one way and with the pet shop valves ive used them before on a friends set up he ran 8psi through 5 of them with no probs im trying for 5psi through 5 with no luck.. i was thinking bout putting stock old school t/b back on so map would read through factory vacum port off t/b but i dont see why it would make a differance!!?

How do you have them hooked up though? They aren't supposed to be inline...

no i dont have them inline i have them on t fittings like they should be im not sure what the prob is
