the MISSING LINK - check valve replacement???? please help with info
Just reading through these posts i find there is a lot of knowledge to find and take in.
something i have heard about is this "missing link" check valve replacment.
currently i have 6 tetra check valves and im getting tired of replacing them.
i called around ( here in vancouver BC ) and only a couple of shops have "heard" about them but do not have the contacts to bring them in.
anybody with info on them or is currently using one, some info would be greatly appricatied.
question1. how exactly do they work?
question2. do you recommend them? any flaws? im using OBD1..so should be pretty easy.
question3. where can i get one of these damn things!!!???
thanks alot from the canadian outback.

1) mounts between the MAP sensor and throttle body and doesn't allow the MAP to see boost.
2) I've had mine for about a year and a half, and I like it. My el cheapo check valve and plastic elbow jammed into the stock MAP opening kept popping off. Supposedly the Missing Link is only good for up to 12lbs of boost, but I've only taken it up to about 11, so I can't really say anything about that.
3) I got mine from nrg-racing.com, but lots of places sell them now. They're made by EFI systems(efisystems.com), and I think you might even be able to order directly from them. Do a Google search or something, I'm sure you'll get plenty of hits.
