Default My VAFC hack experience so far

I've been running like this for a few weeks now. Car runs strong, but I'm still wondering why I have to cut my fuel trim to the -46%-43% range without the car bogging. For the past two times I had to fill up the tank, I've been getting no better than 15 mpg. I do drive normal with the occasional sprint, and before with the fuel pump/fmu combo the worst I would get is low 20s.

On a sidenote, I encountered an SRT-4 on the freeway the other night. I was pulling on him like no other til I lost power and threw a CEL. Unfortunately for some odd reason the CEL turned off when I put the jumper in. So, I pressed the peak/hold button on my Defi box and found I had overboosted to 12 psi. Looks like I need to put more duty % (I had it set at 0.60 bar).

All comments, suggestions, flames are welcome.

so it's just the 450s and the AFC? because when i was running the hack, i still got the same mileage as i did with the GReddy blue box----26-27 mpg with the same cruise range of about 250-280 miles per tank. this was on RC 440s with a VAFC.

and nice job on the SRT-4. but for $20000, those things are still badass. Road & Track tested it as .88 on the skidpad with a 14.2 down the 1/4.

if the cel just went out and didn't show code it is random misfire. same thing happend when i first put my safc on and it hasn't happened since.
seems weird that you'r running so rich with those settings. do you have sticking injectors? are you not running resistor box when you are supposed to? those settings sound like they would be for n/a with 450cc injectors figuring your stock ones are like 240cc.

Oh the CEL was constantly on after it happened.

I'm running a resistor I bought from Sonny Van Hook (thanks again)

I had RC Engineering clean these injectors before I had installed them.

Weird ey?

My advice should be obvious, but get it tuned. You should get more power and better gas mileage.
