******* o2 sensor is pissing me off

i just swapped out o2 sensor with my friends gsr one.i keep getting the same ******* code cel 1,oxygen content.my wiring is correct,and my friends o2 is good.wat now.im running a stock auto p28 ecu.wat else can cause a cel 1.if any one knows about this please help.this is the only thing left before i hit the streets.

you try resetting the ecu ?

What I am thinking. I had this same problem with Code 21. CEL was gone, but code still appeared during diagnostic. I reseted the ECU and it was good as gold

i disconnected the battery,removed ecu fuse and back up fuse from the fuse box under the hood for about 30 sec.is that how you reset the ecu.please help
