My Car is only running 3-4 psi. why?!?!
Ok, so i jus turbo'd my LS w/ a t3/04e with a 57trim and .63 AR with the .45 bar wastegate spring in my Tial. My car won't run past 3-4 psi
I'm not sure if its because i'm on stock clutch or not?? At the top of 3rd gear my clutch seems to slip. After i realized i'm only boosting 3-4psi, i attached my boost controller, and i still can't boost above 3-4. Please tell me what to do

well, it could also be which vaccum source you used for your wastegate, if you used the connection right5 on the turbo, it might see 6 lbs, but once it goes through all your ic piping, and IC, it will prolyl only be like 3-4 psi, and you most likely mounted ur boost guage on the intake mani, right??? my $.02

I tee'd everything off of the fuel pressure regulator-- Is this bad?? I've heard that alot of people tee everything off the fuel pressure regulator.
Also, How do I check for leaks??

Notice you didn't have a filter. By the look of thing, seemed like the cuprit is the screen you use in the Inlet of the compressor. If it's too thick, it won't flow enought air to create any higher boost.
Take the screen off if you don't have the filter, test it, you'll see the different. Even if you have a leak else where, you still see much higher boost than a 3-4 psi, unless it is a really big leak!
Other than that, everything look ok.

hahahaha, are you ****** serious???
My guess would also be a boost leak in one of your pipings.

my guess is a boost leak somewhere on the charge pipes...take everything off and reconnect them making sure that they're all tight...my charge pipe kept popping off right after the IC and i was stuck at 3psi too...wasted my dyno money at inline and dyno'd at 117whp...re-installed all the pipes and now i'm up to 8psi...good luck

Actually, i had a problem similar to this. Except mine wouldn't go pass 0 psi. Once i removed my filter, boost problem fixed.

No kidding dude, happened to me! Didn't want to run without a filter while ordering one, so I use some bad material as a filter and didn't get it past 3psi, then found out got some leak.
Fixed, still not past 4psi.
Right after I recieved the filter and installed, spool up to 5psi at 3.5k rpm, not bad for a small K&N filter!
Later I also found out that it didn't shoot past 6psi (When I first tested wihout the screen/filter I spike past 7psi)
, after checking, I found a pretty big leak from my coupling about the size of a finger or so!
Now I'm happily boosting at 5-7psi, still have yet to tune and dyno it tho.
