Default Help! Getting a CEL and limp mode after going over 5k.

I installed my turbo setup 2 weeks ago and everything has been ok since then. I set my SMC+ settings extremely rich cuz i was paranoid about leaning out and blowing my engine. The last few days i have been getting on it to see what my car has with the turbo on. Whenever I go over 5000rpm my power drops big time. And If I keep going with it to 6000-7000k rpm my car goes into limp mode and throws a CEL. MY a/f guage shows in staying rich and my boost stays at 6psi. Can running to rich make me loose a lot of power and throw a CEL and limpmode? I went to the track and my best was a 16.8 ..... Something is not right.
Any input and help would be really great.

SMC+ settings..
idle= 33, 1-2= 36, 2-3= 35, 3-4= 33, 4-5= 31, 5-6= 30, 6-7= 29

Here is my setup: D15b7
- Garrett T3 turbo bolted to HF manifold with 2.5" downpipe.
- 450cc injectors tuned with SMC+.
- Eclipse 2g side mount intercooler.
- TurboXS RFL blow off valve with 2.5" charge pipes.
- Stainless steel AN-3 oil lines and AN-4 coolant lines.
- Homemade boost controller set @ 6 psi.
- Autometer Phantom boost and air/fuel guage.
- 2 1/4" catback exhaust

ur running the hack rite? if so, ur getting the cel cuz the map is seeing too much voltage. u need to set ur smc to -40 across the board. ur really running way way to rich w/ it set at <35...and thats the reason for the voltage ur map is seeing also.

did you check what code it throws? call me crazy, but that might give you an idea of the problem.

r u running the hack? if so, the reason for the cel is cuz of the voltage that the map is seeing...ur correction numbers r too high, they need to b something like -40 instead of -35 and -30especially...

K, I changed my SMC settings to:

Idle: 34
1-2: 38
2-3: 37
3-4: 36
4-5: 36
5-6: 35
6-7: 34
7-8: 33

I dont get the CEL or limp mode anymore, and it pulls much harder over 4500 rpm now. But I am still feeling a slight loss of power around 6000-6200. Could I still be running to rich above 6k?

You're probably still really rich, I run close to 12psi and my 8k rpm setting is -35.
