b20 fitment problems???
well i just got rid of my b18c1 with HCP mounts and there were no fitment issues whatsoever...
...once i get my credit cards paid off i'm thinking of stepping up one more and putting in a b20 i can get the long block really really cheap and eventually wanted to do the b20/vtec with a b16 head...my question is, is there any problems with clearance with the b20? is it any taller than the b18c?

I'm guessing you had that problem cause the B20 pulley has a 4-row belt for the P/S instead of the usual V-ribbed that most other honda crank pulley's have...Swapping to an LS pulley would prolly fix that.
i know this has been covered thats why i'm not reposting...
which head would be the better choice for the b20/vtec setup...b18c1 or b16a

B18C1 = More compression and outflows the B16 head(don't argue is does). GS-R cams are great for boost and N/A.
B16A1 = prolly cheaper/easier to find. 1st gen b16 cams suck ***

Would have to agree with prior post but a ITR head is still a PR3 head which is a B16A head also. If you p/p the head, swap cams, valve springs and valves from a ITR head its gonna be the same thing. B16A head would be cheeper at first but by the time you go thru it with all ITR stuff you could probablly but a ITR head, or spend about the same $$$ and have a better flowing head then the ITR. Just stick your B18C1 head on the B20...
