How to pul the motor put?
I dont think its nesseraly that technically difficult, are u talking about pulling the entire engine and transmission. Its just requires the right tools ( like a engine crane or something) unbolting some mounts and time, I personally wouldnet try it myslef, but if u are technically inclined, im sure u could figure it out.
yeah the entire thing. is it hard to do?
i know i need an engine harness, but wut needs to be unbolted and stuff? I'm good with tools, but can an average person do the job?

pulling it out is easy.
putting stuff back together isn't so fun....but not too bad.
basically involves:
-disconnecting battery
-taking off front wheels
-somewhat taking apart from suspension to allow for removal of axles
-disconnecting vacuum lines and hoses and all wiring
-attaching chains to proper points on motor
-preload the lift and start loosening the motor mounts
-at this point, when the motor and tranny are somewhat in the air, you realize you forgot to drain the tranny fluid and it's leaking all over the floor out the axles holes
-pull it out and take pictures of you and your friends in the engine bay

It took 2 days the first time by myself. That was a swap and turbo reinstall.
I would suggest getting a Helms service manual. Label both sides of any wire or hose you disconnect. Put nuts and bolts in baggys and label them to where they went. Take pictures. Don't rush and use the right tools.

when I did my old hybrid, it took me 4 days to drop the engine in the bay and almost a week to run wires....
so moral of the stories is, keep track of the wiring, it'll give you the most pain...
and if you have handycam, record it, that way you can always stop and rewind and figure out where you got lost...
I could not have done mine by myself without a handycam,......
and label all wiring...

there at least three harnesses, to keep track of....( look at the back of your ecu, and you'll see three harnesses) but more importantely..there are vacuum lines and other hoses and stuff....plus look at engine gormett ( the driver side ) there are tons of ignition, starter wires to keep track off.....
anyway, number the wires 1-god knows how many, and mark the other one the same number...

The B18C motor swap article will cover all the steps invovled.
4dr-gsr: good luck, i'd like to see you pull the motor out in 1 hr.. It takes 15 mins just to disconnect the front forks and axles.
If you know what you are doing, it can be easily done within 2hr's... we have done it faster with 2 people.. basically we can do a complete motor swap in under 3hrs. But thats with the air tools and 2 people and not standing around chit chatting.
HTH.
