purchase yourself a helms manual for your car

Re: (turbotime)
first disconnect the battery
then disconnect all sensors, coolant hoses etc
remove axles
get engine solidly attached to engine hoist.
begin taking off mounts, and slowly pull it out

Re: (turbotime)
take your time, nice and easy. just as everyone said, make sure all sensors/hoses/ obstacles are out of the way. make sure the hoist is nice and stable. raise it up a bit, and slowly undo the mounts...
few things to watch out for...
1. the rear mount may hold you back, easy to forget
2. axles/shift linkages must be removed (duh!)
3. leave the tranny on, remove the driver side mount, then rear, then tranny.
good luck, its easy as pie!

my car was in an accident, the engine is ok but the tranny mount is messed up beyond removability and the tranny hosing it cracked slightly. I was just going to unbolt the tranny and remove it becuase of its akward position due to the accident

Re: (turbotime)
yea well i already talked to kilohead and he said hes not going to get his money back. Regardless you should'nt spend the money without shipping out first. And if you didnt spend it you would be able to refund him back.
