Default How should i seal up this hole?

What is the cheapest/still strong way of sealing up this hole? Just JB a bolt into it? just trying to come up with something to seal it without having something really obstructing flow. thanks.

just use a brass cap in there. it will seal nicely. JB weld will probably catch on fire.

take it to the muffler shop; they'll weld it shut for you.

and what is the best way to put this in the oilpan?(bolt on return fitting). should i put the long side into the pan or the short side? i wasnt sure if there was any baffling or anything that the long side could run in to.

Weld that bung hole!

And as for the oil return fitting, as long as you mount it as HIGH as possible, the short side should be fine. You probably want as much thread as possible on the line side anyways. Cuz once that thing falls off...good bye oil and good bye motor!

I have that exact same fitting. FYI: the long side will fit inside the oil pan.
