Default help with engine hot restart

i really could use some help if anyone has encountered this problem before. my 92 integra starts up fine but when it is at operating temperature i have problems restarting the car. i've already replaced the fuel pump, spark plugs and distributor. now im still stuck with the problem. please give me any suggestion to what might be related to this problem. thanks!

i have the same problem, but only when race my car, or run it hard, ive done everuthing you've done and it still happens, so i had it checked out and they told me that it was my ignition coil. I just got mine and will be installing it tommorow, but i think thats what it is so try it or have someone check it out, i got mine cheked out for free at autozone for free. Its really simple to take off and put back on. Hope this helps. Peace

There is a condition called "Hot soak restart problem". It's caused by the TW sensor. It's a thermister that intermittently reads high sometimes, fooling the ECU into thinking the engine is cold. As a result, the fuel mix is too rich and results in flooding a warm engine. Look for signs of flooding, or just replace the sensor if you think that's the cause.
