where would i tap the wires tho to run my fan constantly while the car is on???? my freind told me to do this until i get the switch, anyone know where to tap to???
the fan switch is by your thermosat. there is two wires that run into a plug. unplug it and jump out the plug with a paper clip then tape it so the paper clip doesnt fall out

Had the same problem :
Thermostat changed didnt fix it...
It was the water pump, car wanted to overheat only while it was idle, guess the pump wasnt runing.. only when being revved on.

hopefully its just the switch 17 bucks it cost me since i work at a car parts store :-D
My car was doing the same thing too. Only overheating when idle, except my coolant reservoir would go empty about every 2 or 3 days, so i knew i either had a serious leak or needed a water pump. I went ahead and got timing belt as well

ot - kpxchonnom why the **** do you post your ******* car in every post you make?
krazy
Let it idle for 20 minutes or so, and just keep pouring in coolant. Bubbles should come up; add more coolant. If you swapped the thermoswitch you lost some coolant. You could have air pockets.

you need to tap the fan to an aux fuse that turns off when the keys are off
