i hooked mine up and it seems like it takes alot longer to boost. does anyone have that problem?

i use to start boosting around 4k...now with the boost controller its around 5.5k. did you have to adjust anything?

how long is the line? If the line is longer, it will create boost lag rather than help "decrease" it. I hope you didn't route the MBC into the cabin of your car

How is it hooked up? and of course you have to adjust it, they are not set for any specific aplication , you normally have to turn the allen screw out till you , get to the bleed threshold, then, when you turn it out any more it will raise boost, just being oinline with the turbo and wastegate will raise boost the slightest bit with a manual controller. Make sure it is hooked up, and adjust it , should boost earlier. Jason

 

the hosting site i go to is down. i will post a pic asap. basically i hooked up my wastegate to the brake booster. i cut the line in half and thats where i connected the boost controller. its right above the valve cover.

 

That's how my Tial wastegate instructions say to hook it up so i think you hooked the wastegate and Boost controller up properly. How long is the tubing you used? I've heard that for every foot after 3 feet the effective-ness to increase spool time and eliminate boost spike.

try going through your lines and look for any leaks or cracked hoses, make sure you had the initial setup correct (liek someone said earlier), etc.

hope that helps......yea ill check for leaks. i heard air coming out of the boost controller. its suppose to be like that right? since its a bleed type BC. can anyone verify this?

 

isnt the hose from the BC suppose to go to the top port of the w/g? and the side port goes to the manifold.??

 

i think the top part of the wg is for electronic boost controllers. this one is manual....thats why i hooked it up like that.

 

where did you get those fat T fittings for you brake booster? I cant find any...
