You'll need a leakdown tester and an air compressor. Set the piston to TDC, pressurize the cylinder to 100psi and the gauge will tell you how much cylinder leakage you have.

Something I've never understood though: how long do you leave it for? I mean, let's say arbitrarily the #3 cyl is leaking a bit through the intake valves. If it was left for 2 seconds then measured, wouldn't it be a different reading than if it were left for 20 seconds? Or is my thinking of how a leak down test works off somehow?
