Which sub??
I listen to all types of music and I'm looking at purchasing a 10" sub which will powered by a JBL 300.1 amp. Based on pure SQ alone, which subs should I consider? Right now I'm looking at:
JL 10w3v2
IDQ 10 v.3
Feel free to comment or suggest.

This year's IDs are better than this years IDQs. This year's IDQs have not been redesigned yet, but the current IDs have been. Correct me if I'm wrong.
thats a tough one. i haven't heard the IDQ v3 yet, but i can say the JL sounds very good. its damn accurate if you put it in the right box. how much are you going to spend?

All of the specs are similar, but I'd go with the IDQ. Just because Ilike to deviate from the norm, and the lower RMS rating (overhead is good). It is probably cheaper also.

EDIT: Also, I will probably go with a small sealed box. What volume should I be looking at?

I believe your amp does 300 watts at 3 or 4 ohms, so you could order either one. I would get the dual 2 ohm, so you could wire it in 4 ohm. It makes life a little easier for your amp. http://edesignaudio.com/ep/wiringtut.htm
Edit: Recommended is .4-.8 cubic feet. I'd aim for the .8 to get better low end, and maybe add some polyfill down the road.
