well its like 50 out finally and i know now just what boost in 1st gear is like

i was at a light today and i just had the urge to floor it and as it reached 4500rpm it just starting pulling and i was like "omg" head tilting back moer than usual... falken tires GRIP. thats without heating them up either...

so on the way home i would be next to a new si and he tried me off the line and got me by like a car till i hit boost in 1st gear at like 15mph then BYE BYE lol.... sorry about all the pointlessness of this topic but i was just excited from that boost effect in 1st gear

 

azenis in cold weather =

i was taking a 45 mph turn (very over-rated/slow speed required turn) one lonely dark and cold night (no one is around and nothing is aroudn to hit... so what the hell, i'll take it at 70mph.

the front did great but the back tires started stepping out as soon as i let off the gas, as soon as i fully turned in and was off the gas, the back end stepped out in a 40 degree slide with the road, i mashed the gas and the back end when right back into line but still, i thought these things were suppose to be great? maybe its cuz it was like 50 or 55 degrees out.

first off, taking a turn at 70mph isn't really a good idea on a turn that requires slows speeds. secondly you shouldn't let off the gas completely

falken azenis have a treadwear rating of 200 which is as low as you can go for a legal street tire. as for mileage i guess it depends on how hard you drive and the road conditions.

to the azenis from me, wish they made more sizes though

 

i have them , they go bald if your the burn out type or stunna kid , but there great for grip and the thread wear is 200 , anything above 45 degrees and they work great , other wise i spin first even when in **not** playin around , rain and snow traction is horrible though , so if your lookin to buy them they run about $70 a piece (cheep) and i would have a second set of wheels with all season tires if you dont have a "beater" car .. . .

also if you think about it if you let off the gas at the top of a gear with lots o rpms the engine is slowing your front wheels down , but the back ones arent having much force slowing them so they might slide out faster , that is unless you hit the brakes ( dont do that when your racing or sprinting around a turn , def a BAD idea unless youve got room and HAVE to ) ( thats just my feeling , dont stunna flame me )

its gonna be 60 this weekend so i cant wait to boost in 1st gear over and over and over i hate spending 10 dollars a day on gas lol
