I have a 96 CX HB and am wanting to swap out the climate controls to that of a 00 civic. I already have the controls and the bezel, I need to know what elese i need ot make the swap plug and play. What wire harnesses or if i need a electrical temp valve to replace my mechanical one. Any info would be great!!! Thanks!

 

Im not sure but i think its impossible, the 00 is digitally controlled or something to that effect.. dont quote me on that though..

96-98 is cable driven, 99-00 is electric. Pretty much impossible unless you change the dash. Not a worth while mod.

it can be done, you just need a whole lot of stuff and after that it is a little bit of riggin. You are gonna need the bezel, controls, wiring harness, heater/blower box and a few other things if i remember correctly.

Climate harness
Heater Valve Harness
Electric Heater Valve
Blower box

I think this will make it almost a plug and play exchange, though i am not sure, any help would be appriciated!

 

What are you doing with the old climate control, fuggin thieves broke mine. I need a new one. ??

 

As soon as i get the new one up and running, i will be selling it! It may take be a little bit though, still trying to figure out what all i need to make the job complete!

 

I have everything except the dash harness for the controls. Does anyone know if the ECU plug will have to be re-pinned since i'm going from a 98 harness to a 99?

I have put a full 2000 Si dash into my 97 Hatch. Lucky for me I had the whole dash and everything behind it. So if you get everything from a 99-00 model then it is possible.
