Default clutch pedal problems, no pedal pressure...

LAst night for some strange reason, after a whole night of boosting, my clutch pedal dropped all the way to the floor board...

all the pedal pressure is gone and I wasn't able to get it in gear whatsoever...

I noticed the fluid on the master cyilinder were empty, so I fill it up with a new clutch fluid, pump the pedal a few times, still no pressure and the fluid is not moving within the cylinder..

today, I checkd the slave cylinder and the clutch fork, the throw out bearing is still there, no leakage at all from the lines, the slave cylinder is still operational..

I looked under the dash at the pedal, nothing is missing or loose, nothing is out of the ordinary,....no fluid leaks form the damper on the pedal...it drips a lil bit, but that's normal...but no sign of fluid puddle or anything..

still no pedal pressure and it will not get in gear

any suggestion ?

TIA

stan

well, sounds like you master cylinder went up, if you lost all the fluid in it, and there is no leak any were, but when you added fluid did you bleed the system? I would pump the pedal, and hold it down, let some one crack the bleeder on the slave, I doubt it, but if fluid comes out, try to bleed the whole thing, and see if pedal pressure comes back, also look and see if the slave moves when pumping. but it sounds like a problem with the master cylinder. Godd luck. Jason

same thing happened to me with my old isuze trooper. but adding in some fluid and pumping did get it working again. there was a leak in mine somewhere. this happened to me in aspen though( i live in NM) and so the whole way back i would have to pull over and pump the pedal all the time.
