Default Clutch pedal problems, no pedal pressure, help...

LAst night for some strange reason, after a whole night of boosting, my clutch pedal dropped all the way to the floor board...
all the pedal pressure is gone and I wasn't able to get it in gear whatsoever...

I noticed the fluid on the master cyilinder were empty, so I fill it up with a new clutch fluid, pump the pedal a few times, still no pressure and the fluid is not moving within the cylinder..

today, I checkd the slave cylinder and the clutch fork, the throw out bearing is still there, no leakage at all from the lines, the slave cylinder is still operational..

I looked under the dash at the pedal, nothing is missing or loose, nothing is out of the ordinary,....no fluid leaks form the damper on the pedal...it drips a lil bit, but that's normal...but no sign of fluid puddle or anything..

still no pedal pressure and it will not get in gear

any suggestion ?

TIA

stan

I am not sure to what extent you checked your slave cylinder, but this is what I did when this happend to me
Took a liquid hand pump
loosend nipple on slave cylinder
opened cap on master cylinder
attached hose to liquid pump with clutch fluid and attached other end to nipple on slave cylinder
pumped fluid till i got all the air out of the system and clutch fluid poured out of master cylinder
tighten nipple, cap cylinder
pump clutch
check for leaks
you may want to pull up your clutch and keep it up while doing this

hope this helps.

ya that works, but if you don't have that fancy equipment then you and a buddy can bleed the system by pumping the pedal untill clean fluid comes out, then tightenn that bleeder valve.. it is a little messy but it works.. if you do have access to one of those pumps use it, it saves time..good luck

Had the same problem and turned out to be the clutch master cylinder. $180 installed.
