Default Where can i get a stock tape player code

i guess i reset my tape deck on my 95 EX, and now it says Code.... and i hit a bunch of buttons twice, and it beepd, and now when i hit buttons, it doesnt beep anymore, and doesnt work.. how can i fix this? and where can i get the code?

You can get the code from the dealer. You'll have to have the serial number off of the radio when you bring it in.

I'm assuming your car was bought used.. otherwise your dealer should have went over this w/ you... anyway check the owners manual and glove box to see if there is a key code card.. if not you can go to your dealer w/ some proof of ownership and they should be able to retrieve it for you

Off hand I dont think that they charge but you never know. Call first to check it out. Personally, I dont think they will charge you

i worked there for about a week, then i had to go back to school, and since i wasnt 18 yet, they cant fully employ me... so i know the tech's and they loved my B20Vtec Civic... i think they'll hook it up for free

As long as you get the serial number off the back of your radio yourself, there is no reason that they should charge you for looking the code up for you in their computer. If they have to pull the tape player out themselves, they may want to charge you nominally as that procedure takes time. I used to work at a dealership myself.
