Where can i get a stock tape player code
i guess i reset my tape deck on my 95 EX, and now it says Code.... and i hit a bunch of buttons twice, and it beepd, and now when i hit buttons, it doesnt beep anymore, and doesnt work.. how can i fix this? and where can i get the code?
I'm assuming your car was bought used.. otherwise your dealer should have went over this w/ you... anyway check the owners manual and glove box to see if there is a key code card.. if not you can go to your dealer w/ some proof of ownership and they should be able to retrieve it for you
Off hand I dont think that they charge but you never know. Call first to check it out. Personally, I dont think they will charge you

As long as you get the serial number off the back of your radio yourself, there is no reason that they should charge you for looking the code up for you in their computer. If they have to pull the tape player out themselves, they may want to charge you nominally as that procedure takes time. I used to work at a dealership myself.
