Default Where is the 4 digit code for the HU?

Had my car 2k1 GSR couple months now. If the battery is disconnected the cd player is inoperable, correct? Didn't read the manual that thoroughly. How do I find out what the code is for my car? Keep forgetting to ask the dealer. Thanks guys

You should have gotten a stereo card with the serial # and the security code on it. If not, youll have to take it to the dealer to get the code.

I'm pretty sure the code is 5 digits...but anyways, to get the code, you should have a little card from the dealer somewhere in your car (i.e. glovebox, armrest thingy, etc.) If not, bianca's correct, you'll have to go to the dealer. I bought my car used, so I didn't get the card. Therefore, I called the local Acura dealer and gave them my VIN number. They gave it to me over the phone (bad move on their part...i could've been a theif) I would hope that most dealers would make you come to the dealership to get it...Either way, the dealer can get it for you.
Peace out.
