anyone know how to bypass the code for a stock honda/acura radio? the dealer is hassling me because it is not the one that came in my car and they are telling me it could be stolen. for some reason, the original radio was replaced with one from a civic, it even says honda on it.
anyway, does anyone know how to bypass this security code?

 

u cant. u have to find a dealer that will give u the code. i bought one off of ebay and the kid emailed me the code 3 weeks later. i had already gone to the dealer and showed them the auction and he gave me the code. or u can by an aftermarket radio. good luck.

 

well, i have an integra and a stock deck. it came with the "Acura Manual and everything to tell you about the car." It should have an Anti Theft Code card inside the case. if it doesn't you'd have to go back to the dealership and ask for the code. You can try an acura dealership and ask for the code.

 

You know what.. If you ask nicely, there might be an Acura Tech on here that could pull the code for you if you give him the serial number of the deck.. I do it all the time at work..

losing or not having the number can be a PIA... it sucks.
