Blue printed, balanced, sleeved and bore by golden eagle + brand new everything including installation = $5,000
Oversized pistons and port and polished head with manifold. New oil, water, fuel pumps, timing belt, alternator belt, battery etc. etc. etc. Too much money for my t-bo GSR-V-T (I call this name cause it is a 94 gsr with CR-V block and turbo charged lol).

That's about right. And also don't forget the price of the actual turbo kit. My buildup cost about $3500K...no sleeving. Then the Drag kit cost about $3K. Then I got miscellaneous stuff such as a clutch, radiator, fans, etc.

It adds up to be quite an undertaking.

I've spent $8,000 + including my turbo and electronics. The engine work alone has cost $5200.00 .

Take off your Vtec??

Are you talking about valve tap? Have you done a valve adjustment?
