Sup guys, ever since I installed my turbo kit and exhaust I have been running without a cat...my secondary o2 sensor is just plugged into my exhaust piping. I've heard about people talking about having to buy o2 simulators and what not when they run without a cat converter. What would cause my car to not throw a code? It's an obd2 gsr and I've put about 1500 miles on it since the turbo install

I'm not complaining just wondering

 

I guess there is enough of difference between the first o2 sensor and the second o2 sensor

it's only been 3 days but no CEL for me either

2nd O2 is just plugged into the test pipe

 

 

In time you will get the CEL for secondary O2S. Your best bet is an OBDII High Flow Cat, or an O2S Simulator like I am running. The Simulator hasnt let me down yet, over a year without it acting up.

where did you get your o2 sensor simulator? my friend has a knocked out cat and needs one.
