Default Will i keep my knock sensor w/ hondata and is that any protection?

Does the hondata disable the knock sensor? If not, will it and limp mode offer any protection w/ possible detoation from boost/lean conditions?
Thanks

if your obd-1 ecu has knock sensor support, then it will still work with hondata.

as far as i know, it works up to certain rpm.. maybe 5000rpm?

safeguard does a much better job, but stock knock sensor is better than nothing.

stock knock sensor will only work up to 5000 rpm, your car SHOULD NOT detonate at 5000 rpm, otherwise you'll have big *** problem...
