hondata s200 and knock sensor

hondata s200 and knock sensor

I was told that if you are using hondata then you don't have to wire up a knock sensor becasue you can elimiate it by using hondata. Is this true or does a knock sensor need to be wired?

You don't need the KS.

Any chipped obd1 ecu can have the knock sensor disabled :-)

yea you can eliminate the ks but it can come in handy for tuning purposes. I'm running a ks w/ hondata.
