Prelude Turn Signal Problems
I have a 98 Prelude. I have all of the sudden lost all turn signals. I have nothing in my dash or at my lights. Yet, the lights all work when the hazards are on. I have checked fuses and relays that I think might be the problem and have not found anything. Could it possibly be the switch in the column? Thank you for any help.
Its most likely your switch on the column since the power from the hazards goes through the same clicker (for lack of better term) and get routed to the lights. You can check the switch by taking the "clicker" above the drivers fuse panel out. Feel for the clicking while the hazards are on. Remove the clicker and use a multimeter/ test light to check for voltage on the six terminals where the "clicker" used to be. Two of the lines should be constant 12volts when the turn signal is pushed up or down. The other lines will go to the hazard switch (12 volts when the switch is on) and the other two go to the lights themselves ( which will show continuity to ground). I hope I haven't made it harder for you to figure out your problem. But most likely your switch is the problem since the lights still flash with the hazards on.
