Did a search---dash lights not working
Alright I did a search and none of the archives had my exact problem. My dash lights vent\radio\clock works fine, the gauge pod speedo\tach etc. does not work. Fuse fine wire hook-up fine even the bulbs look good. Is there anyhting else I can check?

Did you happen to take off your steering column assy., and check your headlight combination switch by chance? All my dash lights went out recently and all that happened was the connector to the combination switch seperated.

the dimmer switch seems to be the most common cause of instrument panel lights going out... usually if you lightly tap the dimmer switch "wheel" the lights will come on... easier yet check your local junk yard and just pick one up dirt cheap to replace it... i found three at the junk yard last time i went.

I had this problem. It is my dimmer switch. If i turn it up to high, the lights cut off so I put it almost to the top. Then If they do switch off, i just tap on the switch and they come back on. GHETTO!
