the guy i bought my car from cut up all the wiring. i need to know, where the (+) 12 volt ignition wire comes from. i have all the wires coming from the car that i need but i can't find this one. yellow with red stripe. if anyone can help me it would be greatly appriciated.

 

I just helped my neighbor with this due to a theft. First unwrap the tape off the wires to see if the wire was cut by the stock metal mounting bracket. If you still can't find it, look up under the dash, and turn the key on and off and track down the relay that clicks when you turn the key on. It was up kind of high on the driver side above the fuse panel if I remember correctly. Verify you can feel it clicking. Pull the relay down and you should see the wire. If not you can always tap it into the ignition harness wire.
