i have just purchesed a 2000 integra for my girlfriend, and it came with a aftermarket radio already installed. the guy "warned" me about the radio and how it has constant power so you have to cut it off when you turn off the car. so when we took the car home i removed the radio and to my surprise the radio had been "hardwired" in. i took my dmm and checked and found no ignition source and i did search for cut or dead wires there where non.? any help would be great even a "how to" install a ign. wire to the radio or a source i can tap for it.

First I would check all the fuses in the car to make sure they are all good then re-test the yellow/red wire. This is the switches 12 volt wire that turns the radio on. If this fails you can allway run a lead off of the ingnition harness. This will be the yellow/black wire

thank you so much for the help do you have any links to the color coding of the radio harness wires? and if the radio fuse is under hood i dont have the cap that tells what fuse is what so if you have the diagram for that that would be great as well.

Pull each fuse one by one and look. A bad fuse can still look good and be bad. The best way it to test them with a dvm. The fuse under the hood should be a 7.5. Is the clock still working. Did you check the fuses in the driver kick pannel? Here is a diagram for you.
