How do I wire a new horn button?
My horn doesn't work and I haven't been able to find out why. So now I'm trying to wire the horn (the stock one) to a horn button on my dash. My problem is I don't know wiring. How do I wire this up, do I cut the harness that goes to the horn and connect some new wires to the cut harness? Do I need a relay, anything else?

Re: (integraXTC)
You need a "switch" or a botton-type switch.
There's two wires going into the horn.
Make a ground somewhere around the horn, wire that to the horn.
Then find a 12V source, wire that to the switch (first connector), then from the second connector, wire that to the horn (power to the horn). Done.
Can't beat new wiring reliability.

check and see if your horn is working. same thing happened to my 240 and it turned out that the horn was borken. just wire a wire form your battery to the horn and see what happens.
