Hi guys, i got a Civic 93 EX D16Z6, i want to put a turbo on it but if someone can give me a advice i really apreciate it. I want to rebuild the whole engine so i would like to know what kind of pistons, rings, bearings etc etc etc i need to put to run more than 8psi of boost. Please i need advices. You could run your stock internals with a turbo as long as your keep your boost to a minimum(I'd say about 6 or so PSI, you could run a little more but I'd do 6 to be safe). But if you want to build your block, Eagle rods and JE pistons seem to be a good setup.

 

What about the fuel management system, i need one? and what else i need to run a turbo with a build engine or stock

If you still need help I will just learn as much as possible on your own. If you can't figure it out yourself how do you expect to have it run safely?

 

A 12:1 FMU would be good, maybe a fuel pump too. Injectors and a Hondata if you're going to boost high.
