Default My Turbo Setup Is Using Oil!

I have a Turbocharged GSR engine ( fully built ) running 9 to 1 compression and 12psi daily. I have noticed that the engine uses about 1/4 of a quart of oil each day. My driving mostly consistes of commuting to and from work ( about 60mi daily ). Does this oil comsumption sound right? If not, what should I check? Thanks.

When I go to a high rev ( in a gear ) and then take my foot off the gas, I notice blue/white smoke coming out my tail pipe for like 2 sec. No leaking that I can see.

It could be a few different things but I'll give you three ideas to look for 1.Check your spark plugs do they have oil on them? 2.It could be a seal in your turbo leaking oil into somewhere it is not supposed to go! 3.Double check and make sure their is absolutely no oil leaks

i'm having a similar problem except my smoke is white and does it a lot...no oil drips on the ground. My oil return line leaks where the fitting connects to the turbo cartridge, but its just wet...doesnt leak enough to drip to the ground

I have the same problem. I drive about 200 miles a day and go through 2 quarts a week. I have no leaks at the engine, and when I start the car and let it idol I do not see any smoke coming out. The only time I see stuff come out the exhaust is when I jump on it i usually see a black puff come out (carbon) I am thinking. But I have yet to see oil coming out. Any help would be great. Thanks

Don't panic too soon, It could be few things using oil.
It could be the turbo for one.
While the engine is idling, feel the vent on the valve cover. It should feel like it's sucking and blowing in at the same time. That will give you an idea if it is the oil rings. Also, check the vacume , you should have 18-22 "HG.
