not to blast rev hard i love my manifold dont get me wrong..

well heard an exhaust leak today poped the hood a few of my manifold bolts were broke off. damn rev hard's dont have slots in my manifold. now i have to pull the head and helicoil new bolt holes.. ****

Did the bolts PULL out of the head?? or did they break off in the head.. If they broke off in the head thats easy.. You just get a reverse drill bit (extractor) from sears and screw it out.. then put new studs in..e asy..

if the bolts PULLEd out of the head, ya, then your fucked..

 

the bolts were probably sheared off.

the manifold expanding from heat wouldnt pull them out of the block

well it ripped the thread right outta the head on one. i got the others out. i have to take of the manifold, turbo, downpipe, power steering, AC, alternator and radiator and helicoil a new thread in there.. ****** ****.. god damnit rev hard! not to mension their downpipe is a nice 8-10 inchs long.. bastards... oh well i guess ill have to make my own slots..
