Default TurboXS High Performanc BC. Quick question.

I was following thru the intructions that the BC came with and eventually, have gone to the point where it needs to be pre-setted by adjusting the coarse adjusting screw (3 full turns) before adjusting the fine adjusting screw.

Now going onto adjusting the fine adjusting screw. It tells you to do 3 turns counter clockwise and will increase boost by approximately 1 - 3 psi.

Question:
Does that mean, 1 -3 psi ontop to what the preset boost level on the wastegate? This is into an internal wastegate btw.

I'm a little bit skeptic and would like to know things like these as a pre-caution.

i think you got the screws mixed up. the fine adjustment screw is in the brass part. the coarse adjustment screw is at the top.

Negative, the way he has it labeled is correct. I have the same one.

Christmas gift, Ray?

Also, yes it increases the psi on top of what your wastegate is set at.

Hehehe... To myself, yah!

Well guys... it's in and boosting 2 more psi than my current boost level and it's set to 8.8psi (.6bar). Still have the blue box installed if anyone cares. I only had to adjust it twice to get the set level of boost that I want and 'am very please at this point. It holds boost exactly @ .6 bar especially on high speeds... 3rd, 4th, 5th gears were all steady @ .6 bar. I love it!

I boosted up to 12psi (.8 bar) today and that was scary. No traction. LoL!
