Turbo oil feed hardlines??? anyone???
Im a little skeptical about running SS lines to my turbo.. I want something super durable, inexpensive, and somewhat stock looking... I want to run a hardline to my turbo oil feed.

I'm using tephlon tubing inside a stainless steel braided line. Just go to a local fittings store, get about 5 ft(only ran $4/ft) and a couple of compression fitting($5 each).
Not exactly stock looking, but for $30 you have perfectly durable lines- been runnin over 2 years, no probs

well, i dont like the big SS line ziptied to other ****.. ya know???? is there any better way to run one??? you have any pics???
I was contemplating this breifly also, but just decided to go braided SS anyways, because I found a cheap source. I understand your need to not have blingin things under your hood. I feel the same way. Theres no reason you could not run a hard line. Go for it.
I have a friend that is in the mist of completeing his project and he ran hard lines to his turbo. Looks really really nice I might add. I will try to get some pics soon.
i almost posted the exact same thing last week on here before i hit cancel cause i thought i was being a retard
go for it. i wanna see em when there done!

Goto HOME DEPOT.
Get small copper tubing. Bending tool, and Flaring tool for the ends.
easily withstands your running oil pressure.
I have seen this done on several 'backyard' jobs...
Works quite well.

all -3 lines are teflon coated unlike the larger ones ( -4 and larger)
any -3 lines will work...
ALL speed flex lines are all teflon coated, therefore more expensive, they are designed primarily for fuel to reduce the fuel vapor, you also need to use speed flex hose ends, due to the exact inside diameter of the hose.
oooh about the hard lines for oil feed, stick it to something simple that has been proven for years.....a lot of DSM guys that I know, switch to stainless braided lines, since the stock hard liens bend and etc...

well what i did is..... i got the SS braided line and ran it from the back of the block, down and underneath the block,(in the hump of the oil pan) then up and to the turbo... you can see the line at all....
Does that bother anything running it like that?
