Bump stops
When I put my shocks and springs on over the summer the person who helped me do it cut two rings off of my bump stops. The car sits really low (neuspeed race springs, neuspeed edition koni yellows) and I am concerned about blowing my shocks. The race speed instructions said to only cut one and a half on the bump stops but I have heard of others cuting the bump stops off at two. I am looking for oppions since the car is currently not being driven and I am going to be doing some adjustments to the suspension soon so I can change out the bumpstops if need be. Also does any one know if some one makes polyurathane bumpstops for accords?
I havent looked at them yet, the car is not that low. If it wasnt for the bent heat shiled under the car I wouldnt scrape over most comon speed bumps (outside of those made for SUV's only it seems
) I worry really about it more for pot holes and such. Some of the roads around MO are in pretty bad shape.

Dont most of the shocks company said that anything lower than 1.5 will void the lifetime warranty bs>?
i just got some kyb's not the best but they will do for the street, my question is there a aftermarket bump-stop that i can buy plus the housing boot. schould i be looking into a rubber,or poly bump-stop, or something what would last longer then this oem bump-stop , i cant tell what it's made out of it's so old.

Doesnt look like it, I just took a look at energy suspensions web site along with prothanes and neither list it. The stock ones are actually pretty stout, mine were in pretty good shape for how old they were when I did my install. Some new stock ones cut to what the shock/spring manufacture tells you and you should be good to go.
