KYB/AGX & H&R Race = riding on bump stops?
This is my current setup with the bumpstops cut in half. Does anyone know if I'm riding on my bumpstops?
Thanks
Thanks

I have the exact same set up and love it... never hit the bumpstops (cut mine in half just like the directions told me to)

maybe i got the wrong springs or something. i can't tell if the shock colapses onto the bump stops once lowered from a jack. being progressive shocks, the upper coils touch when the car is lowered to the ground, closing off any possible view of the bump stop. How can i test to see if i'm riding on them?
also, are your guys' rides pretty harsh? please describe the ride in as much detail as possible. i've asked for this before, but always come up with a really short description.
thanks

yeah you should have some travel left before hitting the bumpstop. If I put on those springs.. i'd cut my stops more than 1/2.. but 1/2 is better than nothing! if you didnt cutem you'd be eFFD. But yeah, I dont think your "riding" on the bumpstops. with my coilovers, i'm lower than those race springs, and still have some clearance before hitting the bumpstop.
However you WILL hit the bumpstop on hart bumps/corning.

Re: (Tad)
I dropped my car about 1.5". Cut my bumpstops about 2/3.
AGX with GC and some cheap billet aluminum spring perch
with stock upper mount. Front setting at 2 and rear at 4.
I feel the bumpstops on really messed up roads and steel plates.
Messed up meaning about 1.5" - 2" bumps in the road.
Hope this helps somewhat.
