okie well the cel light doesnt not come on but if you go and check for cels i get a 21 and i took a few pics of the selenoid after i looked at it and looks like oil take a look

ok....what do you need to know?

 

how do i change that line, i have to take the clamp off and the line but is there gona be coolant in the line, if so do i have to drain all the coolant from the radiator all the way through? and this cant be related to the cel 21 i am getting

 

what line are you disconnecting?

 

if you look in the first pic there is a hose coming from the left and curves down and there is green coolant coming out of it

 

i got a vtec cel too. what is up with the cel? i mean what needs to be done. is what he is asking.. is it a matter or replacing the selenoid? or huh?

kteller8 do you have a vfac?

 

have you checked your oil level lately? and your solenoid is the light brownish colored cylinder off to the right in the first pic, sometimes they get clogged and need to be cleaned, that's what happened on my car

is your high cam engaging?

 

oil is there and i clean the selenoid b4 by jus takin the screws off and cleaning out the screen, and i have a vfac and it does show i go into vtec

 

is there a seal that might need to be changed?

 

Replace the silenoid with one that you know works. Then see if you still have the cel. That should be the first step.

Are you able to engage the high cam?

 

no sir.. no vfac on my ride yet
