Hey all, I have a question,

I have an oil leak by the cam gear on the top right of the valve cover. I already know it's probably a head gasket/valve cover gasket that I need. Well the problem is today while driving to work, I noticed a "clacking" noise when I hit anywhere between 3,000-4,500 RPM's (maybe more, didn't want to push her). Is there more to this than just getting the gasket (s) replaced? Or would the problem go away once the valve cover seal/head gasket is replaced? I sure hope it's not a real bad problem, I just heard this noise (clacking) for the first time today. Any help or inputs would be gladly appreciated and taken note of.

it could be your cam seals.

 

So I might as well get the whole cylinder head gaskett kit, it does include the Cam seals correct? Sorry for the dumb questions.
