Default Should I worry about the xtra 0.6:1 compression of my jdm b18c? Xtra precautions?

This will be my setup (thanks integra7)
t3/t4 from a drag kit
intercooler and piping from a drag kit
inline pro manifold
hondata IM gasket
skunk2 IM
tial wg @ 6.5 lbs of boost
3 in down pipe w/ flex
3 in thermal exhaust
vortech 12:1 fmu
walboro 255
hks ssq BOV
apexi boost and egt gauges
I wont be running that much boost and I know the intercooler helps out too. I plan on hondata and injectors but not for a month or so after the install. How much more "dangerous" is it w/ the jdm compression? Should I not boost until I can afford the hondata? I know nobody can guarantee me ill be safe but some reassrance or a firm "WAIT" would be nice.

you'll be fine. just keep the boost levels reasonably low. we have the same compression as USDM type R's. they have people running 6-7 psi on fmu's with no problems... just don't get crazy till you get hondata
you might want to look into a thicker headgasket if you're worried about that CR+pump gas...
i'm putting on the inline pro headgasket, which brings the CR to about 9.2-3:1 and plan on running 12-14 psi with a tuned hondata s200. daily i'll have it set at 10 or so.

but yeah, you shouldn't worry about it. you'll be a-ok

I had a revhard turbo kit on my jdm gsr civic back in the day. Ran 9 pounds on it all day long with no problems. All it had was inline fuel pump and regulator.
