Compression too high???...
Hey guys...I already purchased some Arias pistons at 10:1 compression. This is for a turbo application. Drag Kit to be exact. I want to boost about 12 psi daily driven.
Did I get too high a compression piston? I was thinking with the Turbonetics Drag t3/t4 I could get it to boost a bit earlier.
Should I have just gone with a lower compression?
Any tuning issues I need to deal with at this compression or things to look out for?
Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks

what setup are you running...when does boost kick in??
If I am not planning on producing 400-600 HP, then is it really advantageous for any Daily driven car to run such a low compression??
I see everyone running in the 9's...

I'm running 10:1 Arias @ 10 psi on an H22. 12 psi on pump is okay. Make sure you have a good tune, AFR around 11.8 and timing about 20. A good engine mgmt. sys. is important. (Chrome, Hondata, Uber- etc.)

Higher cp and boost is ok as long as you get decent gas in your area. 93 octance will work well with higher compression'd turbo cars just dont take anyones advice on where to set your timing at.
I have been going strong on 9psi and 10.4:1 cp for 2 years........ daily driven.
