Default Compression and boost.

My car is underconstruction, but will be done in december. I was a little concerned about running boost on a JDM h22a with a compression ratio of 10.6:1 with all stock honda internals. My management systems will be (that I have purchased so far)

1) Hondata 2b on a P72 ECU
2) Full MSD ignition, with the 6AL
3) RC 550cc injectors
4) Blitz Dual SBC
all on a t3/t4 turbonetics, HKS WG and BOV, DRAG piping and FMIC, with a SFP manifold.

I will also buy a pyrometer, FPR, guage, and rail, along with some form of new fuel pump (not inline)

Main question is, who is running boost on a high compression motor like this and what do you think the car is able to run boost wise with this setup and for how long before I have to start looking at internals/other problems, personal experiences would be great as well. thanks!

I know u better get a better oil pump. H22a oil pumps crap out, especially with higher boost levels.Maybe get a racing oil pump for the motor.Thats all I know, maybe someone else can answer the other questions you have.

It will bo ok as long as you don't crank the boost too much. The higher CR, the higher risk of detonation as the boost rises. I would keep it to 8 Psi and under until you get lower CR pistons.

i would go with a 10:1CR IMO 9:1 is to low for the street

I was planning on going 8.8, but that wont be for awhile, just want to keep it safe for now
