i'm curious as to how long you've had your engines running 6 to 12 psi on stock everything and what kind of numbers you put down. i'm looking for 3 years of good running engine (with proper maintenance of course), all motor seems tempting but seeing you guys with the LS engines is making me sway. (i know i could build up an engine but the ls is cheap, budget here )

 

I blew my motor after about 7 months of boost. Then again, it was my own fault, I hit 15 psi leaving the house first thing in the morning. Cold motor and high boost don't mix well. Other then that it was fine.

 

I've run my stock LS at 6.6psi for over a year (>20,000 mi) and honestly I haven't done any maintenence because of laziness and lack of free time. I've just changed the oil and kept adding the expensive gas, there hasn't been a single day that the car has been undrivable due to maintenance or any other work - a true daily driver.
