Default LS Engine B18A1

I got the whole engine for really cheap price at my local Junkyard. I'm planning of rebuilding it and boost it around 10lbs. Can I still use the stock internals such as Rod and Piston with proper fuel management? I'm trying to go cheap on this one. Anyone here running stock internals with some good outputs?

I ran 10 psi on a bone stock junkyard motor for about a year with no problems. the motor was a 97 LS with around 50000 miles on it.
